Full Obituary

     MARIE I. ERTL, age 95, of Loyal, WI, passed away at Wells Nature View, in Marshfield, on Wednesday, October 25, 2017.  Funeral services will be held at 11am on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Loyal.  Rev. Daniel Zimmerman will officiate and burial will follow in the Loyal Lutheran Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Lynn Smith, Bruce Hadler, Tom Bobrofsky, Kenneth Smith, George Stumpner and Harlan Hinkelmann.  Visitation will be held at the church, on Tuesday, from 9am until time of service.
     Marie Ivah (Wehling) Ertl was born on September 1, 1922 in the Town of Beaver, Clark County, WI, the daughter of Charley and Isabelle (Schweiger) Wehling.  She was raised on the family farm and received her education at Sunnyside School.  Marie was united in marriage to Raymond F. Ertl on June 7, 1941 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Loyal.  Together they raised their family and farmed in the Town of Beaver for 57 1/2 years, before moving into Loyal in December 1998.  She resided in Loyal until moving to Wells Nature View in May 2017.
     She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and had many interests, but especially enjoyed dancing, playing cards and spending time with family and friends.
     Marie is survived by her daughter:  Donna (Ronald) Heiting of Marshfield;  her daughter-in-law:  Lana Ertl of Marshfield;  two grandsons:  Paul (Janet) Heiting of Marshfield,  David (Kay) Heiting of Loyal;  three great-granddaughters:  Erin, Sidney, and Kara Heiting;  two step grandsons:  Scott and David Treglowne;  two step granddaughters:  Tara Treglowne and Christine (Adam) Becker;  four step great-granddaughters:  Emily Treglowne, Samantha, Katelyn and Anna Becker; one step great-grandson: Devin Treglowne;  nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
     She was preceded in death by her parents;  her husband, Raymond, on April 24, 1999;  her son, Ronald, on January 6, 2017;  one brother: Herbert Wehling in infancy;  one sister:  Elsie Pachal; and one great-granddaughter: Lynn Marie Heiting.
