Full Obituary

    
     ROBERT "BOB" KACZMAREK, age 71, of Hallsville, TX, passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Monday, October 9, 2017 at Thorp Funeral Home, in Thorp, WI, with Father Marion Talaga officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Polish National Catholic Cemetery in Lublin, WI, with military rites will be conducted by Lublin American Legion Post #547. Visitation will be held at Thorp Funeral Home, on Monday, from 1pm until time of service.
     He was born on August 24, 1946, in Chicago, IL, to Stanley and Anne (Yanos) Kaczmarek. Bob was raised and received his education in Wisconsin. He then went into the U.S. Army, where he served during the Vietnam War. After his honorable discharge, Bob started working for the L.E. Myers Company in Wisconsin, eventually moving to Hallsville, TX, where he worked until retiring after 34 years with the company. He was a kind, loving and gentle man.
     He is survived by his companion, Mandy Bacon, of Hallsville, TX; his sons: Jeffrey (Terri) Kaczmarek of Cleveland, TX and Todd Kaczmarek of West Bend, WI; four grandchildren: Cameron Kaczmarek; Kyle Kaczmarek, Kylee Kaczmarek, and Austin Kaczmarek; his sisters: Bettie (Robert) Stopka of Stanley, Judy (James) Albert of Thorp, Joan (Doug) Deuel of Thorp, and Donna (William) Petrusczak of Lublin; his brother, Donald (Marlene) Kaczmarek of Withee; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
     He was preceded in death by his parents.
