Full Obituary

WAYNE C. "DOG" HIBBARD, age 76, of Greenwood, died peacefully on June 15, 2017 at the Clark County Living and Rehabilitation Center, in Owen. A Celebration of Life will be held at Parkway Pines Supper Club, N10005 Hwy. 73, Greenwood, WI, on Saturday, July 8, 2017 from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM.
Wayne Clair Hibbard was born October 17, 1940 in Marshfield, WI, to Harlowe and Anita (Meyer) Hibbard.  He graduated from Colby High School in 1958 and then attended UW-La Crosse. Wayne served in the U.S. Army from January 23, 1961 to October 29, 1963, being stationed overseas in Africa and Europe.  In 1967, he was united in marriage to Arlene Shoop in Illinois. They later divorced.  Wayne spent 34 years working for Trans World Airlines, retiring in 1997. He then worked for the U.S. Postal Service and served as the Postmaster in Loyal.
  Wayne had many interests, but especially loved spending his time at Mead Lake, was an avid outdoorsman, and just enjoyed being outdoors.
He is survived by two sons: Shane (Sandy) Hibbard of Glen Ellyn, IL, Damon (Amy) Hibbard of Schaumburg, IL; 5 grandchildren: Nathan, Damon, Maggie, Patrick, Sydney; one brother-in-law: Ken Schulz of Florida; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
  He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Marlene Schulz.
