I was so delighted to see Gertie at our 60th Stanley, Wis. high school reunion in Oct. we went to grade school together with Duane Van Ert. I had such a wonderful conversation with her, and she had a fantastic outlook on life and always a smile as she spoke of Larry and her family. She told me she had a wonderful and happy life and was so grateful for it. I have not seen her in many years so it was very special. We all took pictures of The Edisvold School group. Thinking of her wonderful family and may her memories live forever in your hearts. Marlene

My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family of Gertie! I enjoyed my many conversations over the years with Gertie, I could listen to her for hours at a time and never get bored. She was a wonderful lady!!!!
