Mara's passing has just come to my attention and I can't express how sorry I am to hear of it. I'm on the faculty of sociology at Marquette University and Mara had taken a couple classes from me. We had kept in touch a bit after graduation, as she thought about grad school and her next steps. I saw her as an energetic, bright woman who had a lot of potential. I can only imagine how difficult this loss has been for you, as it saddens me too. I take some consolation in the fact that you have many happy memories of your times together.

I was one of Mara's sociology professors at Marquette, and I just now heard of her passing from another former student who was in her class. I am tremendously sorry for your loss. She was truly a delightful student with a sharp eye for injustice and a sense of humor that allowed her to spot humanity's foibles without bitterness. I really enjoyed talking with her and working with her, particularly on her senior research paper. Her life was way too short, but it was clearly full of love, happiness, friendship, and humor.

I'm so sorry for your loss! I went to middle school with Mara. She's one of the few people I remember from way back when. She was always so sweet to me, and I can't believe how quickly she was taken. I've since moved away, but I always appreciated how sweet she was (since I was the new girl in 6th grade). I'll be sending my prayers for the family!

We celebrated 'All Saints Sunday' at our church in Curtiss on Sunday. We lit a candle for Mara. The minister said how one minute Mara was driving down the road, the next was in God's arms. Things happen in this world. The world doesn't love us, God loves us. Mara loves us and we still love her. I just hate the thought of her missing everything. You know how she hated to miss anything! She even made up things to be included in on conversations. (She learned that from me. I can almost hear her laughing.) God's peace to us all.

That was supposed to say, 'big hole'. Mara's passing has left such a 'big, big hole'. An empty spot that will never be filled. I'm so sorry for your loss, Trampush family. I wish you peace.

We are still using some of the flowers from Mara's funeral at our church. How could such a little girl leave such a bit hole?

Carolyn, Warren & family, We were so saddened to learn that Mara's life was taken in such a tragic accident and at such a young age. Know that the prayers, love and thoughts of all your family and friends are with you. Tammy, Bryanna & Kendall

We were so shocked to hear that Mara lost her life in a tragic accident near Greenwood. Mara was in my classes the last two years of my teaching career in the Greenwood Junior High. I remember her as a hard worker, full of energy, and an active participant in many of the extra-curricular activities in Junior High. May all the wonderful memories of her 24 year life help family, friends, and others deal with the grief felt by all. You are in our thoughts. Take care, John & Linda Binder Plymouth, WI
