Dear Steve,Re: your comment about what a small cretaure can do to you, I send you this Ogden Nash.A mighty cretaure is the germ,Though smaller than a pachaderm. His customary dwelling placeIs deep within the human race. His childish pride he sometimes pleasesBy giving people strange diseases. Do you, my poppet, feel infirm? You probably contain a germ!(Feel better!)Kind regards,Patty Joanna

Dear Kitzhaber Family, Bonnie was a dear, sweet lady who I will always remember fondly. She was one of the team of generous women who used to drive my mother to Marshfield for her cancer treatments. Even after my mother died in 1988, she remained a friend to us all. I am so sorry to hear of her illness and death, but I imagine her in a better place with those that have gone before us. God Bless.

My sincerest condolences go out to the Kitzhaber family, especially Randy and Mike, and their respective families. I didn't know your mother, personally, but she and your dad raised a fine group of children. :) My heart goes out to all of you during this difficult time.

I am so sorry I was not able to be there for you all. Your mom was one of my favorite aunts, which is saying a lot as I had 21!! aunts. I have great memories of babysitting, with Diane, for you three oldest boys at the old farm house. It's been a while since my last real visit with your mom. But I still remember how much I enjoyed listening to her reminisce about when she and your dad started out in life. There were some goods laughs shared on that one! She hauled out family pictures of you all that I had not seen before - what fun!! She was a very special lady, always quietly in the picture and friendly to all. You all were very blessed. Please feel my hugs to you all. Love, cousin Virg
