Dear Aunt Becky, Allison, Jessica, and Sara,
My heart is so heavy as I grieve with all of you over the loss of Uncle Dale. He was such a wonderful man whose joyful spirit, warm smile, and incredible sense of humor brought happiness to everyone around him. He was a devoted husband to Aunt Becky, a loving father to his girls, and a truly special uncle whom I loved dearly.
I will always treasure the memories of the summer I spent with Uncle Dale and Aunt Becky. Those moments are forever etched in my heart, and I am so grateful for the love, laughter, and kindness he shared with me.
One of the greatest comforts we have is knowing that Uncle Dale loved the Lord and lived a life of faith. While our hearts ache because we will miss him so deeply, we can rejoice knowing he is now in the presence of Jesus, reunited with so many loved ones who have gone before him—my mom, Phyllis, his brothers David and Ron, Uncle Buck, and his mother and father. What a glorious reunion that must have been.
Please know that I am praying for each of you during this difficult time. I pray that God will surround you with His perfect peace, strengthen you when the days feel especially hard, and comfort you with the precious memories of Uncle Dale’s life and love. May you feel the everlasting arms of our Savior holding you close and reminding you that, because of Christ, this goodbye is only temporary.
I love all of you and will continue to keep you in my prayers. May God bless you with His peace that surpasses all understanding and the assurance that we will see Uncle Dale again one glorious day.
With all my love,
Kathryn
