Condolences to the Family of David A. Fricke

Stephanie (Olsen) & Sage Kuohujoki Eau Claire – Posted On: January 7, 2026

Here’s a condolence that matches the tone and simplicity of the others, while making it personal:

We are so sorry for your loss. Dave always had a smile for you any time you saw him. He had a great sense of humor that made everyone feel at ease. He will be deeply missed and always remembered with a smile. Condolences and a big hug to Karen, Dana, Kim, and DeeDee. He is at peace now - bless you Dave!

If you want it even closer to the others—shorter and more understated—here’s a tighter version:

So sorry to hear of Dave’s passing. He always had a twinkle in his eye and a wonderful sense of humor. We have many fond memories, especially of him coaching us girls in middle school basketball. He will be missed and remembered with love.

If this doesn’t feel quite right emotionally, say so. I won’t just nod along—we can sharpen it until it sounds like you, not Hallmark.

I have many fond memories of times spent with Dave... and feel blessed to have known him.
Dave was one of my best friends in grade school. We played... we laughed.. and we dreamed together.
In high school, Dave was a popular, good-looking jock with many friends... but he always went out of his way
to make me feel part of that group. In later years, I admired how comfortable he was in his own skin... never
pretentious... happy to talk to everyone... no matter what their position in life.
I'll miss his smile... his humor... and his kindness.
His was a life well lived. Rest well my friend.
