Condolences to the Family of Edmund J. Burzynski

Rollie and Donna (Burzynski) Wills Grand Rapids, Minnesota – Posted On: October 15, 2024

Many times, when out at the farm, Pa took Donna and I out riding in his car around the area, with Ma also often along. He liked driving by the farms and houses, telling us about the people as he and Ma seemed to know everyone. He showed us places and told of things important to them early in their lives, such as where they went dancing, where they first stayed when married and of others who did things with them. It was much fun listening to he and Ma telling us their stories. He showed us places the family went fishing and camping, and we especially enjoyed the story of the time they and family from Chicago went fishing and camping down at the end of Pine Rd. on the west side of Black River, amidst the ponds and woods there. Though it was a long time ago, Pa pointed out to us the spots where their tents were set up. Often Pa quietly listened to me talk of current issues and the Bible. I told him how the Bible tells us that Jesus is our only way of getting to heaven (John 14:6 and John 3:36). A hundred times he listened to me briefly talk of such and always said the same thing: "I believe it". That leads Donna and I to think he got saved and is going to heaven.

My heart goes out to your family. Dar, you were the very first friend I made after my move to WI, my heart hurts for your loss. May you and your family find peace and in the future days. This is not easy to overcome but Edmund is at peace, his body at rest, he felt the love over his lifetime. I have enjoyed the stories you have shared, especially those over the last week. He doesn’t like the sponge mouth moisturizer thingy!
