. Came to know Martha and Audry after Audry became ill and learned a lot from the both of them. She was a remarkable Mother. So sorry to hear of your loss.

Al and family - Randy and I are so sorry to learn of your Mom’s death. She leaves quite a legacy of giving and community and will obviously be missed by many. She made quite a difference to the people in her circles and those she helped. You were such a devoted son and we know her passing will leave a hole in your heart and in your days. We will be thinking of all of you at her memorial. Wish we could be there in person but know we will be with you in spirit. Fondly - Laurie & Randy

I haven't seen or spoken with Martha for many years, but I remember her wonderful up-beat personality. She put the "H" in Torpedo. I didn't know that was her middle initial, but it fits. My condolences to all of you at this difficult time.

As your only granddaughter, and you as my only grandparent, we had a very special connection. As devastated as I am, I hated seeing you in pain, as well as your liberties being stripped away from you.
The memories I made with you, are contributing factors to who I am today.
Key moments in my life, that will forever live in my heart.
I miss the Christmas dinners and holiday gatherings. Helping you make key lime pie as well as dumpling soup. I miss when you used to hang up my drawings. I miss when you took me to DollarTree. I miss when we used to watch Doctor Phil & Oz together.
It’s what made our relationship OUR relationship. Despite this being a long time ago, I miss the things I used to help you with. I will miss painting your nails, curling your hair, feeding you, and sitting with you as time passed. Even the last time I saw you, we shared laughs, hugs, and goodbyes.
Overall, the thing I will miss most about you, is you.
You were and will continue to be, the kindest person I’ve ever met in my life.
The only comfort I can find at this time, is that you are reunited with the people you loved. And if anyone deserves that, it’s you.
I love you forever grandma, and I hope I can see you again someday.
-Love Megan.

I remember the first time I met your mom at a gathering at your house in Edina. She was as so kind and caring. I loved hearing her stories of how it was for you growing up in Thorpe. I always saw your mom as someone was ready to take on the next adventure. I am sure she will be going on many in heaven as she reunites with family. It was a gift knowing your mom.

The nicest, sweetest, gentlest lady ever! My heart smiles when I remember her at school, seated at a table with a little one by her side, listening to her help. She was such a blessing to the kindergarteners. Everyone loved Martha. Rest in peace, Martha.
