Herr Family:
Sorry to hear of Bill's passing and your loss. Many good memories of talking with Bill, family, and others racing #21. Many discussions about the car and engine. Always a very enjoyable conversation and I learned allot from Bill.

Our prayers and thoughts are with the family. It is a sad time, but they should feel ok with the thought that their Dad is in peace now and the memories they have should be cherished. Much love to you all.

To the Herr Family,
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. I remember watching Bill race at the Yellow River Speedway back in the early 80's. Such a class act. Always had a smile on his face and every time I saw him, he always said "hi" to me. Even won a race or two. Always cheering him on. I grew up in Marshfield and couldn't wait for Saturday night dirt track racing. I hope you all find the peace and tranquility in this time of sorrow. Glad to still have memories of Bill.

Fran and I are thinking of you all at this time. In thinking of you of course our thoughts center around all the fun times our two families ran across the field to see what you all were doing that day. I sent our kids down the field to borrow butter or sugar or whatever I needed. Jane did the same from us. People would ask our kids “So which Herr are you, Franny or Bill?” This of course would require an explanation. We have so many happy memories of life on the farm. Our hearts go out to all of you, Karrie, Terri, Kristy, Tom and Brandon. Love you all. Nita and Fran
