Remember you first as a newly engaged couple. My mom and dad were visiting the Horns. A long time ago. Good memories.

It was a pleasure to know Darrel from the times I preached at Greenwood and at other times when the Horns worshipped in Owen and even in Neillsville. May God watch over you as you remember his life on this earth and his new life in God's holy presence. I shall always remember his friendly greetings.

Dear Denise and family,
So sorry to hear the loss of your beloved Darrel. I too think of all the stories Denise has shared over the years about her father , caring for the pond, maple syrup making , traveling on a safari , hunting , helping Denise with her place , chopping wood etc the countless memories.
I think of this poem when you’re blessed to live to celebrate 91 yrs of life .
A life well lived is a precious gift
Of Hope and Strength and Grace
From someone who has made your world
A brighter and better place
It’s filled with moments, sweet and sad
With smiles and sometimes tears,
With friends and family bonds formed
Good times shared
And laughter through the years
A life well lived is a LEGACY
Of Joy and Pride and Pleasure
A living lasting memory
Your grateful hearts will treasure ❤️
My sincere condolences at this time

Denise and family, So sorry to hear about the passing of your father, husband, grandfather, great grandfather! All the stories Denise has told me about him, he was truly blessed to have such a wonderful family and be blessed to have “lived” life the way he wanted. It still blows my mind that he was out hunting this fall and out making maple syrup at his age! What a blessing to be able to do the things you love right up to the end! My deepest condolences to you and your family! Take care and God bless you all during this difficult time!
