My cousin Kathleen and I grew up together. I have so very many pleasant memories of Kathleen, Margie and me. I remember in summertime playing in the water in the street when a neighbor opened the fire hydrant. I remember holiday meals at our grandmother's house, and I remember the three of us going to "Riverview" amusement park. I remember one particular sleepover when, just to annoy her parents, the three of us insisted on jumping on our beds; not stopping until her mother swatted our collective behinds. Most of all, I remember that in all of our adult years, even though Kathleen and I were separated by many miles, we never lost touch, albeit with the internet's help. I will miss her for the rest of my life.
