Although I will be unable to attend the funeral, I am grateful to be able to read about Aunt Eleanor's life here in her obituary. Uncle Dave and Aunt Eleanor never failed to stop by and see us when they were in Houston. And I tried to stop by and see her a few times I was able to get back to Wisconsin and Eau Claire.

I will miss those annual letters where she so well described what she and her entire family were doing during the year. I hope that Patty will be able to keep up that tradition.

Whenever I visited in all those places they lived, Aunt Eleanor had wonderful food and baked goods for me to try and I did.
