My“Aunt” Dolores Quast, will always be connected to my wonderful memories of Gresham and the “Lake”.
Although Delores was a soft spoken woman, her presence was keen. Dolores always met you with a genuine smile, a twinkle in her eye and a real interest in how you are and what was going on in your life.
She was a kind woman who would go out of her way to make a special birthday pie , bring something to add to an evening meal or just hang out and be part of the gang.
We will think of her often when we are at the “Lake”and all the others from her generation who have passed before her.

So sorry to hear of Dolores passing. I am thinking she will meet up with my mom (Dorothy Bushman) once again and they can return to their card games and such. She was such a blessing to my mom as she would sit outside mom's door when she just didn't want to be alone until she fell asleep. I haven't seen her since mom's passing but she was always so sharp and in a good mood. I hope she realized how much we appreciated her watching out for mom in the short time they knew each other.
Rest in peace dearest Dolores.

Such a beautiful person. We met Dolores when Mom was living at Neillsville Retirement. Dolores always stopped to visit with Mom & also would take time to read scriptures to her. They ate at the same table in the dining room. We enjoyed visiting with Dolores when we’d stop to see Mom.
I know she has a special place reserved for her in heaven.
