I just heard of Mary’s passing. I’m sorry for your loss. She was my 3rd grade teacher and a valued teacher and fellow educator of my father’s, LeRoy. My brother was honored to have them as godparents. They presented my parents with a tree at the passing of Mark. I still have a book I remember her reading and later requested it from Mary while I was taking a literature class. They both truly touched our lives.

Had the pleasure to student teach with Mary. Great experience. Loved her dry sense of humor and her sass. Memory Eternal

Our deepest condolences to Floyd and Mary's families. She was such a sweet lady, caring teacher, and was always there to help when needed. We really appreciate her being the teacher of our children. Eva also sends her condolences and said that she appreciates all the lives that Mary touched.

Tears are flowing as I think of one of my favorite people in this world. Mary taught me more about being an outstanding teacher than all my years of college and internship. When I left Thorp she presented me with a scrapbook about our 3 years working together in Unit 2. She signed it, "Remember me as the sound of laughter". Yes I will.

My deepest sympathy to Mr. Hanley for this great loss. Mrs. Hanley was such a sweet lady. She and Mr. Hanley were shining examples of loving, faithful people devoted to each other as a married couple. Eternal rest grant unto her O Lord and let Your perpetual light shine upon her.

Mrs. Hanley was one of the kindest people from Thorp. She was always smiling and interested in learning. She cared about the well-being of everyone around her and made everyone feel special. Mr. Hanley is just as special. So sorry for your lost. She was a lovely lady.
