Mary was always there with a smile. She might not have known which Panek I was, but that didn't matter because to her we were all "family". She was one classy lady. I will remember you all in my prayers. God bless.

What a beautiful caring woman. I loved going to the library as a child because Mrs. Ogurek was so kind, helpful, and comforting. Mary was one of those special people who touched so many lives, and I am so lucky to have experienced her presence. I know Mary will be missed, but I hope you all are comforted knowing you were blessed with her for so many years. - Donna

I first got to know Mary when she was the librarian in Thorp. Always thought of her as a gentle, caring lady. She will be missed by every person she touched. Rest in peace, Mary.

You had such a great lady for your Mom!!! I certainly enjoyed knowing her when Denny and I were still in high school. She knew what was going on and was ever so nice about us learning for ourselves to a point, of course. Glad that she was in my life even if just a little bit! No wonder you children are so wonderful!

So difficult to think of Mary any other way than working at the library together, from years ago. What laughs we shared! May she rest in peace.
