I am shocked and so very sorry to hear about the passing of your mom. Your mother was one of the sweetest and most caring people I have met. She was always willing to look after us when we would need a place to hang out between school and basketball practice.

Benny and family, I will always remember Fern for her welcoming heart and generosity. She and Dave always welcomed me into their home even if Benny wasn't there. I owe her many thanks for all the meals she fed us prior to our high school basketball games.

Oh my goodness, such a shock to hear of Fern's passing. I got to know her as a customer when I worked at Shopko. She was unfailingly sweet and polite. Always a smile. Another angel in heaven!
