Full Obituary

     MELVIN E. LAINE, age 84, of Wausau, WI, formerly of Spencer, WI, passed away at Therans Place, in Wausau, on Saturday, February 25, 2017.  Burial will take place at Foster Road Cemetery, in Redgranite, WI, on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at 9am.  There will be no services held.
     Melvin E. Laine was born on May 16, 1932 in Redgranite, WI, to Niilo and Ellen E. (Lind) Laine.  He never worked and always lived at home with his mother and father.  Melvin had many interests, including, playing checkers and chinese checkers, old antiques, typing, reading, Reader's Digest, pretty new ribbons, collecting old books, Johnny Cash, polka music, and word find puzzles.
     He is survived by several cousins.
     Melvin was preceded in death by his parents.
