Valedictorian from Greenwood High School, class of 1959. After completing her education,
Judy worked in Marshfield at Weyerhauser. She was united in marriage to Richard L. Bauer on
April 15, 1961 at Holy Family Catholic  Church, in Willard, WI. They resided in Greenwood
until moving to Thorp to farm. Richard and Judy worked together side by side, on their dairy
farm, raising their 6 children. They remained on the farm until Richard's death on September 27,

Franklin store in Thorp, and later at the State Bank of Withee, where she had many good friends.
She retired and married Leland Mayenschein on June 12, 1999 at St. Hedwig's Chapel in Thorp.
They moved to Rock Dam, where they lived until Leland's death on July 22, 2011. Judy
continued to reside at Rock Dam until her death.
She was a member of St. Bernard - St. Hedwig's Catholic Church and its PCCW, the Clark
County Homemakers, and the Rock Dam Rockers.
She loved gardening, canning, baking, and attending her grandchildren's sporting events.

types of music.
