Strey on September 24, 1950 in Mason, Iowa.  They moved to Spring Valley, WI, where they owned and operated Cady Cheese Factory.  Marvin was a cheese maker his entire life.  Throughout the years, he worked at a cheese house in St. Croix Falls, WI, the  Hatchville Cheese Factory in Hatchville, WI, and also worked at a cheese factory in Merrill, WI until they moved to Unity, WI in 1980.  In 2007, they moved to Marshfield where they now reside.
Marvin was a good husband who loved being with his wife.  They enjoyed attending church, watching Christian programs, and reading the Bible.  Some of his favorite chapters being Isaiah 53, Psalms 27, 40, 41, 42, and his favorite verse is Psalm 37:4-5 (Delight thyself also in the Lord and He shall give thee the desires of thine heart.  Commit thy ways unto the Lord; trust also in Him; and He shall bring it to pass).  After retirement, he loved driving his car with Hazel at his side as they listened to Christian music.  In his last years, he  was at peace as long as he had Hazel’s hand in his.
Marvin is survived by his wife, Hazel, of Marshfield;  two nephews and two nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Eileen Luther; and one brother, Roland "Bud" Seeman.
