Ed was married to Irene Peleschak, first in a civil union in Chicago on February 10, 1945, before entering the service.  On July 18, 1945, they were married in a wedding ceremony at Holy Assumption Orthodox Church in Lublin, WI.  There daughter, June, was born to them in December 1945.
In his lifetime, he served as President of the Village of Lublin, and on the village board for 18 years.  He also served on the council of his church.  He was active in the Roosevelt Rod & Gun Club.  He was also an active member of the American Legion, first in Lublin and then in Thorp.  Ed was an avid hunter and fisherman, making many trips to Wyoming.
During their many years together, Ed and Irene enjoyed traveling, dancing and card playing.
Ed is survived by his wife, Irene, of 69 years and 11 months;  his grandsons:  Ian Revak and Nicholas Revak;  and one great-granddaughter:  Sarah Revak.
