GLORIA P. NISSEN, age 64, of Lublin, after a long battle with cancer, passed away peacefully with her family at her side, on Saturday, February 1, 2020, at Clark County Rehab & Living Center in Owen.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at St. Mary's Polish National Catholic Church in Lublin, with Rev. Marion Talaga officiating.  Private family interment will be held at a later date.  Visitation will be held, at the church, on Saturday, March 14, 2020 from 9:00am until time of service.
Gloria Patricia Fryza was born on March 17, 1955 at Victory Memorial Hospital in Stanley, to Edmund and Delores (Ruda) Fryza.  She was raised on the family farm, attended Lublin Elementary School, and graduated from Gilman High School in 1973.
After completing her education, Gloria worked at Phillips Plastics in Medford for 27 years.  She was united in marriage to Harold R. Nissen on March 27, 1982. Gloria later owned and operated the Sunset Drive Inn in Owen, and worked at the Gilman Phoenix House in Gilman.  In addition to raising her three children and working outside of her home, Gloria also started her own soap manufacturing company, Gloria's Herbal Bath, which she ran until entering Clark County Rehab & Living Center in 2020.
Gloria had many interests, but especially loved baking, gardening, and anything to do with homemaking.  While her children and grandchildren were her "pride and joys", Gloria always found time to spend with other family members and her many friends.
She is survived by her 3 sons: Adam Fryza, Karl Nissen, and Gared Nissen, all of Lublin; 3 siblings: Linda Ramirez of Menomonie, Jeff (Diane) Fryza of Lublin, and Lori L. Alger (Dave Lutz) of Thorp; nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Gloria was preceded in death by her parents and her brother: Gary M. Fryza.
Special thanks are offered to her entire family and her amazing supporters throughout these trying years: Shannon Wry, Marty Riehle, Angie Haroldson, Waylon Brunsell, Kent Brecht, Chris Hoelliwier, Elsie Hochstedler, Andrew Madlon, Kirk Dall and any others involved.
