Margaret Martha Burzynski was born on June 6, 1916 in the Town of Thorp, rural Clark County, WI.  She was the 6th child of 16 born to Frank and Frances (Wypyszynski) Burzynski.  She received her education at Eidsvold and Pineland grade schools.  Margie moved to Detroit when she was 17 years old and was employed as a housekeeper and nanny.  She moved to Chicago 6 years later, where she was employed in the same occupation.  Margie was united in marriage to Felix Frank "Phil" Zasacki at St. John Berchman Catholic Church in Chicago, IL on April 26, 1941.  Their marriage was blessed with one child, Barbara Ann, on December 6, 1942.  Phil and Margie moved to Phil's family farm in April of 1947, in the Town of Withee, rural Thorp, and farmed until February of 1962.  They then worked on Rod Misfeldt's turkey farms outside of Withee and Thorp until 1970, when they retired and moved into the City of Thorp.  During these early years of retirement, Margie enjoyed looking after her granddaughters when they returned home from school.  She enjoyed watching All-Star Wrestling, listening to Polka music; along with gardening and helping Phil make his rugs and baskets.  Phil passed away on October 11, 1989.  Margie sold her house in 1997, and resided at Morgan Plaza until 2014.  She then moved into New Horizons where she was attentively cared for until her death.
