Marlene Ann Kramer was born on October 8, 1935 in Wisconsin Rapids, WI, to Charles B. and Edna M. (Severt) Kramer.  She was raised on the family farm, rural Loyal, and received her education in the Loyal area, graduating from Loyal High School in 1953.  After completing high school, Marlene moved to Milwaukee and went to work as a secretary for Northwestern Mutual Insurance Company.  She was united in marriage to Thomas F.      She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Loyal, and its TLCW, where she was active in the quilt-making group, was a former member of the Loyal Circle 8 Square Dancers, and the Come-n-Know and Lone Pine Homemakers Clubs.
Marlene had many interests, but especially loved spending time with her family and friends, camping, fishing, playing cards, gardening, traveling, snowmobiling, being outdoors, farming, and loved animals.
She will be dearly missed by her children:  Barbara (Tim) Wendland of Green Bay,  Bruce (Jo) Elmer of Greenwood,  Rhonda (Arlen) Eskildsen of Loyal,  Darla (Randy) Schiferl of Hewitt;  15 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; one brother:  Charles Jr. (Janet) Kramer of Canton, SD; 2 sisters: Carolyn (Doug) Larson of Willard, WI, Delores Martin of Marshfield; one brother-in-law: Wayne Winter of Watertown, WI; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Tom, on November 27, 2016; and one sister, Jane Winter.
Marlene's family would like to thank her care-givers, Dawn Jacobson, Velora Roehl, and the Ascension Home Care Hospice staff for the kindness, compassion and loving care that they gave to her these last few months.
