Full Obituary

     Myron "Mike" Kwiatkowski, age 72, of Greenwood, WI, passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at Marshfield Medical Center, in Marshfield, WI. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Friday, June 7, 2019 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greenwood. Rev. Leo Johnson will officiate and burial will take place in St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery in Loyal, WI, at a later date. Visitation will be held at the church, on Friday, from 9am until time of service.
     Myron Kwiatkowski was born on June 19, 1946 in Hamburg, Germany to Ted and Jane (Bogdonowich) Kwiatkowski. His family immigrated to Chicago, IL in 1951, where he was raised and received his education. During high school, Mike went to work for Maling's Shoe Store where he worked until being drafted into the U.S. Army on November 6, 1967. He served in Vietnam until his honorable discharge on November 28, 1969. He returned to Chicago and went back to work for Maling's Shoe Store. Mike was united in marriage to Kathy Duda on October 24, 1970 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Berwyn, IL. He later worked for Coinomatic until 1986, when they moved to Greenwood, WI and bought a farm in the Town of Warner. They sold the farm in 1999, bought a bar in Greenwood (M&K's Full House Bar), which they operated until 2003, and then Mike went to work for the Cenex Coop until retiring in 2006.
     He had many interests, but especially enjoyed fishing, hunting and attending car shows.
Mike was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, the Greenwood American Legion Post #238 and the Neillsville VFW Post #2241.
     He is survived by his wife, Kathy, of Greenwood; his mother-in-law: Stephanie Duda of Greenwood; 2 sisters-in-law: Diane Loyd of Greenwood and Jane (Stanley) Dubrowski of Peoria, IL; 2 nieces: Lisa Dubrowski of Bollingbrook, IL and Lin Taibl of Bollingbrook, IL; one nephew: Eric Dubrowski of Peoria, IL; other relatives and friends.
     Mike was preceded in death by his parents, and 3 brothers: Chester, Ted and Henry Kwiatkowski.
