Full Obituary

     ROBERT F. ROHLAND, age 66, of Thorp, WI, passed away on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at
Ascension Our Lady of Victory Hospital, in Stanley, WI.  Funeral services will be held at 11am
on Monday, January 14, 2019 at Maple Grove Bible Church in Stanley. Pastors Steve Mohr and
Randy VanDeLoo will officiate, and burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Withee, WI.
Visitation will be held at the church, on Sunday, January 13, 2019 from 4pm to 7pm, and again on Monday, from 10am until time of service.
     Robert Frank Rohland was born on April 28, 1952 at Victory Memorial Hospital in Stanley,
the son of Otto and Agnes (Konieczny) Rohland.  His first job was working on the family farm.  He graduated from Owen-Withee High School in 1970.  Bob then attended UW-Eau Claire and
received a bachelors degree in Environmental Science.  He went on to work for the State of
Wisconsin where he held various positions in the Department of Agriculture and the Department of Natural Resources. Bob was united in marriage to Sharon A. Carey on January 24, 1981 in Alma Center, WI.  He continued to work for the Wisconsin DNR as a waste management specialist until retiring on January 4, 2019.
     He had many interests, but especially loved his Lord, spending time with his children and
grandchildren, literature, being outdoors, and spending time in the woods. 
     Bob was active in leadership at Faith Evangelical Free Church in Stanley for many years, and most recently enjoyed attending Maple Grove Bible Church with his wife and family, especially his beloved granddaughter Madisyn.
     He will be dearly missed by his wife, Sharon, of Thorp; four children: Beth (Matt) Migala of
Stanley, Andrea (Isaiah) Westaby of Gilman, Nathan Rohland of Thorp, Ethan Rohland of Thorp; six grandchildren: Madisyn Fitzl, Chloe Migala, William, Aiden, Samuel and Benjamin Westaby; five siblings: Janis (Al) Missling of Withee, Marilyn (Ken) Churchill of Green Bay, Jerrold Rohland of Green Bay, Steven Rohland of Fort Atkinson, WI, Brian (Dorthy) Rohland of Bloomer; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
     He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Todd Rohland.
