Full Obituary

     ALICE J. WRZOSEK, age 82, of Prairie du Sac, WI (formerly of Gilman, WI), passed away at St. Clare Meadows Care Center, in Baraboo, WI, on Saturday, September 29, 2018. A graveside service will be held at 11am on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery, in Lublin, WI, with Rev. Madanu Lourdu Raju officiating. There will be visitation held at Thorp Funeral Home, in Thorp, on Thursday, October 4, 2018 from 9:30am until 10:30am.
     Alice Jane Wrzosek was born on December 23, 1935 in Gilman, WI, to Stanley F. and Josephine (Swolek) Wrzosek. She was raised and received her education in the Gilman area, graduating from Gilman High School. Alice then attended Wisconsin State College at Eau Claire, where she earned a bachelors degree in education. She was a high school teacher in southern Wisconsin for many years, mainly teaching accounting and typing.  Alice taught in Black Earth, WI for several years before retiring.
     In her retirement, she enjoyed searching her family genealogy.
     She is survived by one sister: Dolores Wrzosek of St. Paul, MN; one brother: Stanley (Johna) Wrzosek of Catlin, IL; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
     Alice was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Harry Wrzosek.
