Full Obituary

     AMY A. MORGAL, age 101, of Willard, passed away at Care & Rehab, in Neillsville, on Wednesday, May 2, 2018.  Funeral services will be held at 11am on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at Holy Family Catholic Church, in Willard.  Rev. Steve Brice will officiate and burial will follow in the parish cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Roger, Mike, Taylor, Jordan and Ryan Ehlers, and Erika Burns.  Visitation will be held at the church, on Wednesday, from 10am until time of service.
     Amy A. Morgal was born on March 5, 1917 near Tioga, rural Willard, to Frank Sr. and Margaret (Plutt) Morgal.  She was raised on the family farm and received her education at Blackberry School.  When Amy was a young woman, she moved to Chicago and worked as a waitress during the winter, with her sisters Emily and Margaret.  She would return to Willard in the spring to help her brother on the farm, and then return to Chicago in the winters to waitress.  Amy later moved back home to farm and take care of her elderly parents.  In 1978, they retired, sold the farm, and built a house next to the farm.  She resided there until entering Care & Rehab in July 2012.
     She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, loved to garden, make wine and bake Potica.
     Amy is survived by 2 nephews:  Alvin "Hap" Ehlers of Neillsville and Bill (Linda) Ehlers of Greenwood; great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
     She was preceded in death by her parents; 3 sisters: Mary Ehlers, Emily Morgal and Margaret Morgal; one brother: Frank Morgal, Jr., and one niece: Amy (Stanley) Olson.
