Paul Allen Marek was born at Victory Memorial Hospital, in Stanley, WI, on August 28, 1982, the son of Al and Renee (Alger) Marek.  He was raised on the family farm.  Paul was educated at home, Thorp Catholic School, and Thorp High School, graduating in 2001.  He attended Chippewa Valley Technical College, graduating in 2003 from the Machine Tool program.  He was employed at Rochester Concrete Products, in Thorp, as Plant Foreman.  He married Kara Matti.  They later divorced, the marriage being annulled.  Paul was united in marriage to Zuleyka Gonzalez on February 20, 2016.
He was an avid outdoor sportsman, enjoying turkey, bear and deer hunting, and fishing all year round with his sons, brothers, Dad, and friend Dan.  Paul enjoyed making maple syrup and working on his Ma and Dads farm.  He had a good, sometimes twisted, sense of humor, enjoying a good laugh with family and friends.  Paul was also a “no bullshit” kind of guy.
He is survived by his wife, Zuleyka;  his sons:  Landon, Levi and Brody;  his daughters:  Hailey and Sophia; his parents:  Al and Renee;  his brothers:  Aaron (Amanda) and Matthew (Morgan); his sister:  Veronica (Derek); maternal grandmother:  Rosella Alger; mother-in-law: Zoraida Tellado;  nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
