     YVONNE M. PETKOVSEK, age 72, of Greenwood, passed away at Ministry St. Joseph's Hospital, in Marshfield, on Tuesday, June 6, 2017.  Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greenwood.  Fr. Steve Brice will officiate, lunch will follow at the American Legion, and burial will follow in St. Bernard's Catholic Cemetery in Thorp.  Visitation will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church, in Greenwood, on Monday, June 12, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and again at the church, on Tuesday, from 9:30 a.m. until time of service.
     Yvonne Marie Lobacz was born on July 31, 1944 in La Crosse, WI.  Her parents were Stanley and Eleanore (Turenne) Lobacz.  She was raised and received her education in the Owen/Withee area, graduating from Owen/Withee High School in 1963.  Yvonne was united in marriage to William "Bill" Petkovsek on August 13, 1966 at St. Hedwig's Catholic Church in Thorp.  They lived in Greenwood where they owned and operated the Y.O.W. store.  She also worked as a nursing assistant at the Neillsville Nursing Home for more than 20 years.  For the last two years, she resided at the Neillsville Care and Rehab facility.
     She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Greenwood American Legion Auxiliary.
     Yvonne loved people, always had a smile on her face, and loved to talk to everyone.  She will
be dearly missed by her family.
     She is survived by her husband, Bill, of 50 years;  3 daughters:  Tammy (Chuck) Niles of Marshfield, WI,  Kelly Petkovsek of Eagan, MN,  Melanie (Josh) Gerhard of Eagan, MN;  7 Grandchildren:  Tony Petkovsek,  Amanda Niles,  Brittany Niles,  Makayla Petkovsek,  Jacob Gerhard,  Malia Gerhard,  Noah Gerhard;  4 brothers:  Roy (Netta) Lobacz of Pleasant Prairie, WI,  Roger Lobacz of Arlington, TX,  Allen (Pandora) Lobacz of Irma, WI,  Bill Lobacz of Sacramento, CA;  one sister:  Toni Hall of Fort Worth, TX;  several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
     She was preceded in death by her parents, and one son, Michael, in infancy.
