Rose and Family: Bill will be remembered and missed, for many years to come. He was a good friend and Lonnie enjoyed working with him and hunting out West with him, over the years. Please know that we are lifting all of you up in prayer; and we know that God will hold you in the days ahead. May His Love surround you and bring you comfort and peace.

I first met Bill when I was hired to run the sale barn in Thorp that Midwest Livestock acquired from Phillip Mattes. From the start Bill was very supportive of me and the market. He instantly became a good friend. He treated me with great respect and like one of his own family. I had great respect for Bill's business sense, work ethics, kindness and the fact that he was willing to help out whenever he could. His wife, Rose, was also so very kind to me. The community has lost a great citizen. I have been blessed to have known Bill and he will always be in my memories.

Our families grew up together. I have many wonderful memories of Bill with his team of pulling horses, the festive Christmas parties at each other's houses, and the friendships that will last a life time. Bill will be remembered for his gentle smile, quick thinking, being a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, and one of the hardest working men I know. It is an honor to have had Bill a part of my life.
