Kathy (Gasparac) Ratkovich Granger, Indiana – Posted On: January 17, 2014

My Dear Judy, Janis, Rita and Rodney I have so many sweet memories of your Mom. My Mom, (Mary Gasparac) and your Mom would talk almost every day. It was such a treat to go to your house on the farm and visit. She was always such a joy and so cheerful, always with a warm smile. She was my mom's best friend. She is truly a very special person in my childhood memories. She was so proud of all of her children and their accomplishments. You all should be very proud.

Rodney and Family: Sending you all my love and prayers for your strength during this time. Your mom was a wonderful person and I always enjoyed visiting with her during her visits on the holidays. She raised a great family and will be missed. Know that the Lord has her in his gentle hands and we will see her again soon! Love you all.

Our deepest sympathy for losing your Mother and Grandmother. She was a grand lady. I really enjoyed being with her at Christmas and special occasions. She was very generous with her love, and we were blessed to know her.

I just found out about Angie and I so very sorry for your loss. She was such a wonderful lady. She was our neighbor for many years and I have so many nice memories of walking to her house and visiting. She always had those almond windmill cookies for the little girl next door. She will be greatly missed. She will be in good company,as my mom Janice was probably waiting for her with a cup of coffee like old times. Sending lots of love your way and please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Love, Ann (Mandy) Zimmer-Hofmann

I met Angeline but once; however, I felt I knew her well through her son Rodney who would speak of her to me often. She may no longer walk among us, but she is always with us in memory and through lasting influence. If Rodney is a reflection of her input, she must have been the terrific mother that he so fondly spoke of. I know her well through him, his kind heart, strong character and willingness to help others. You were lucky to have her for 90 years and that should be cause for celebration! While the sting of her departure may be fresh, I pray that you find peace in knowing that she "went home" where someday you will again be reunited.

I wish you all peace.

Kurt

Mom, Aunt Janice, Aunt Rita and Uncle Rod: Just wanted to let you know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. We will miss Grandma very much. She was so wonderful to me and my family. I have many memories which I will cherish forever. A few of my favorites is the endless Lawn Mower rides all over the yard, we weren't suppose to go in the same spot more than twice so we wouldn't wreck the lawn, needless to say we had trails and were still allowed to ride, the root beer stand, ice cream, Luden's Cough Drops - the brown ones we never took just the cherry, bubble bath's in the cow tank outside, and a trip to the dump with the apples that we picked up in the yard would be an exciting and fun experience for a few. I did get the opportunity to learn how to make cabbage rolls. Most of all the talks that we would have. Please know that she loved all of you very much and she was extremely proud of all of you. She always would tell me she had the best children. I know she is smiling down on us and is so happy to be with Grandpa in heaven. God has chosen an amazing Angel and I thank him for giving me the opportunity to love and cherish her. I love you all very much.

Judy,Jan,Rita and Rod, I am so sorry to hear about your mom. She was my godmother and favorite aunt. I remember all the great summers at your house as a kid and how kind and loving she was to me. She made a "mean" goulash the best I have ever had. She also got me my first double date one summer. She will be so missed, but she is with your dad and doing the polka in heaven. Love, Carole and girls
