I remember my mom taking us to Blanche's for our perms for every special occasion back in the 60s. What a vivid memory; the beauty shop smells, the whirring of the blow dryer, the ladies all talking. I still think of Blanche when I get my hair done. Sending heartfelt thoughts and prayers.
